Welcome to St. Joseph Skill Academy

St. Joseph Skill Academy is an enterprise of the Karnataka Jesuit Educational Society and is part of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions. It was established as a response to the plight of the semi-educated and school drop-out youth in the slums of Bangalore and in the remote parts of Karnataka struggling to gain some livelihood. St. Joseph Skill Academy was started in 2005 at the premises of Ashirvad, Bangalore. It had 33 students in the first batch who on completion of the course were absorbed in the hospitality sector. The success of those students aroused the interest of others and the next batches were started consecutively. Due to lack of space and other facilities it was felt apt to shift the college to St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions premises in July 2006.
