My name is Anju. My father is a security guard and taken the trouble to look after me from childhood as a single parent. I had no inclination towards studies and had failed repeatedly in my 10 standard exams. Then my father who at that time was working in St .Josephs Indian Institutions knew about SJCC and got me admitted there in 2012.For a year I stayed in the hostel and attended college. At SJCC the first thing a learnt was to be disciplined which I felt I had not acquired through my life. Being disciplined helped to focus and I was able to learn beautician training which I felt suited me since science and mathematics were making no sense to me. I learnt beautician and was able to support myself by getting a job in a local parlor. Today I work in naturals and earn around 18000 a month to support myself and my father. Thank you SJCC for giving me an occupation.
