Course Overview

This two-semester course is designed to cover both fundamental and advanced topics in electrical and electronics systems. It combines theoretical learning with practical hands-on experience, preparing students for careers in various technical fields.

Semester 1

  • Basic Electricals: House and Office Wiring

    Content: Fundamentals of electrical wiring for residential and office settings. Includes installation practices, safety protocols, and troubleshooting.

    Skills Developed: Competence in wiring, circuit design, and electrical system maintenance.

  • Home Appliance Repair

    Content: Techniques for diagnosing and repairing common household and office appliances. Covers practical aspects of troubleshooting and fixing issues.

    Skills Developed: Repair skills for a variety of home and office appliances; knowledge of common faults and maintenance practices.

  • Functional and Communicative English

    Content: Focus on technical vocabulary, effective communication, and professional writing and speaking skills.

  • Computer Applications: I

    Content: Basic computer skills, including the use of word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

    Content: Personal development topics such as time management, problem-solving, and effective communication.

Semester 2

  • CCTV Technician

    Content: Training in CCTV system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Includes understanding of different camera types, wiring techniques, and network integration.

    Skills Developed: Proficient in surveillance system setup and maintenance, as well as security technology troubleshooting.

  • Solar Technician

    Content: Fundamentals of solar power systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar panels and related equipment.

    Skills Developed: Knowledge of solar technology, system optimization, and practical skills for solar panel installation and maintenance.

  • Functional and Communicative English

    Content: Continued development of English language skills with an emphasis on technical and professional contexts.

    Content: Advanced computer applications, with a focus on more specialized software and tools relevant to the electrical and electronics fields.

Practical Experience

Electrical and Electronics Lab: Hands-on training in the lab, where students can apply their theoretical knowledge. The lab includes equipment for electrical wiring, appliance repair, CCTV systems, and solar technologies.
